If possible . . . this is the most painful waiting process I've been through whilst waiting for a pilot pickup/death.
And let me be clear. This isn't my first waiting game. This is the 3rd pilot I've done in the last 2 years.
I was just reflecting on why this time around is so much more excruciating. And it has nothing to do with my love of the show. I've loved all the shows I've done. It has EVERYTHING to do with the randommmmmm time of year.
The last 2 times around I wrapped shooting right before the holidays. WHICH MEANS I got to go into the holidays/parties/eating everything/drinking all the egg nog being blissfully employed knowing that I would know nothing until after Santa came.
BUT THIS TIME ITS SO DAMN HOT AND THERE ARE NO HOLIDAY PARTIES FOR ME TO ATTEND.
Trader Joes JUST started selling pumpkins which is NOT cutting it for me.
SO. I realized that when you're in any sort of waiting line you (and by you I mean me. but also you if you're reading this and feel like I get you) need ANOTHER VERSION OF A HOLIDAY PARTY.
I actually came to this conclusion a while ago and have been documenting my adventures for your enjoyment:
Recently I have . . .
become domestic AF
*chicken, kale & lentil soup FROM SCRATCH BETCH
become a baby whisperer
discovered quotes that clearly GET. ME.
*but like . . . am I right??
guarded an ancient hut with my friend Jessica
and went to mother fcking PARIS
So the moral of the story is ALWAYS HAVE A HOLIDAY PARTY TO ATTEND.
