Supppppp dudesssss!! How you been? Fabu I hope!

Omg so its been a CRAY week so far! And I have a lil goodie to show for it!

This is for a new CW pilot called Dakota. Its about a documentary filmmaker from LA named Maya. She TOTES has an obsession with a fallen rock legend from the 90's named Joey Dakota (hence the name of the pilot. heh heh heh) who committed suicide when he was 25. Joey was ALSO best friends with Maya's parents who passed in a car accident when she 5. OH! and Maya gets to spend the series traveling back in forth in time between the 90's and present day hoping to undo the tragedies involving her loved ones. What Maya DOESN'T realize is that with every minor alteration to the past she creates a MAJOR alteration in the future. Really Maya? You didn't know that? Didn't you see Back to the Future? That's like STANDARD with time travel. duh. 

Anyhoo...in this first scene. We're at my documentary film premier. My friend decided to sleep through it. I chastise her. Rightfully so. 

In the second scene I traveled back in time and actually just met Joey Dakota!! (eeeek geek moment.) I'm having a tough time grasping the fact that I'm ACTUALLY back in the past. Again. Rightfully so. So I sneak away to the bathroom to have a reality check moment with myself in the mirror.

In the third scene Joey and I are TOTES hitting it off! OOoOoooOO! And are having chatty flirty banter. 

Fourth scene...or shall I say song....yeahhhh casting asked that I sing a bit of the song "Time After Time" (which F Y to the I ALWAYS reminds me of Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion. That was my favorite movie when I was 9. It was rated R. And highly inappropriate.) Soooo there's a lil something extra for you!

Thicker Than Water

I gots a new fun vid to show you! It's from a film called Thicker Than Water and I love it soooo muchhhh!

It's about a dad and his two daughters. The oldest daughter Sandy is: blonde, beautiful, just got married to a rich guy, perfect. The youngest daughter Lulu (me) is the antithesis of all that is Sandy. She is sassy, sarcastic, goth/punk rebel child. Oh HELL yeah.

In this first scene Sandy has just returned home after leaving her husband (of 6 months) Gregory after finding out he cheated on her. This does not go over well with Lulu.

In the second scene Lulu and Sandy are spending some sister time together.........?????? Awkwarrrrddddd!!!

Criminal Minds: WRAPPED!

Gahhhhhh what an AMAZING experience!

Hi Guys! I wrapped Criminal Minds yesterday and had SUCH an amazing time. It was like they took all of the loveliest people in L.A. AND in the Industry and put them on this show.

The Director Rob Spera was SUCH a wonderful person as well! Super nice. Always kept his cool. And just an all around great Director.

OH! Not only were the people great BUT I met soooo many L.A. Natives!! Whaaaat?! I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE?! We all bonded. It was cute.

My episode airs on Feb. 29th @ 9/8 central on CBS. If you can't remember that far in advance NO WORRIES! You KNOW I'll be reminding you plenty before then ;-)

Anyhoooooo I took some pics throughout the shoot that I'd like to share! Enjoy!

 Because Julie likes to get herself into trouble on the show...Lilah's
knees suffered in real life...

Thanks to the supa comfy UGGs they gave her to hang out in...Lilah
was able to take the knee injuries like a champ....

Lilah had a scene with Shemar Moore yesterday but forgot to
take a pic because she was too busy figuring out how to seamlessly start referring
to herself in the 3rd person mid blog post...

And they all lived Happily Ever After! The End!

I'M ON "CRIMINAL MINDS" BETCH!!!

After keeping this secret for 3 weeks (THREE FRICKEN WEEKS!!) I can OFFICIALLY say that I just accepted an offer for a role on Criminal Minds!! Yayyyy!!

I film next week and I am cray-to-the-zay EXCITED!! I'll keep you posted as to when my episode airs ok?! OK!

Ode to Electricity

Never have I ever been more thankful for Thomas Edison inventing the light bulb.

GUYS!. Guys. Just listen to this. As many of you know L.A. had a crazy windstorm last Wednesday Night. Wellllll I lost my power for 3 WHOLE DAYS!! I barely got it back last night. Doesn't sound like much but it was like a third world country at my house. A third world country in the 1600's. SO EFFING THANKFUL FOR ELECTRICITY!

Sooo yeahhh that happened. Which is WHY I've been so MIA. BUT I'm here now! So let's talk.

Tis the season for the industry to slowwww it dowwwwn a bit and get into vaca mode. But since I get bored easily I like to keep busy doin some funnn stufff.

In addition to doing workshops (which you KNOW I weirdly love doing) I think I wanna start just filming a BUNCH of great scenes and stuff?! I mean I DID buy a camera and I should start putting it to use! Maybe I could do like one a week!?!? Like a TV series or something......yeahhhh.....I like that......the Lilah show..............or something.......

SO y'all can definitely look forward to lots of goodies coming your way for December! Yay!
